COURSE DESCRIPTION

Filled with lectures, image recognition and scanning stations, this course will enable you to become confident in using echo ultrasound to diagnose and manage the critically unwell patient. 

Candidates will be divided into small groups according to their ultrasound skills. They will learn how to scan the lungs on normal modes and also to recognise pathology in patients with lung conditions such as pneumothorax, pleural effusion, consolidation and fibrosis.
